Lyrics

My Reeling Dreams

There goes a cloud that looks like an angry Pac Man to me.

Pressure all around sometimes can grind its abrasive wheel.

I’m not going under.

You don’t want the trauma of regret.

I’ve been anguished, like a shark without a fin.

Now I’ve found it.

Let’s see now, where shall I begin?

Where shall I begin?

Where shall I begin?

You make cameo appearances in my reeling dreams.

Here’s to the mighty wielding arm of Bologna’s Hercules.

Hanging suspended in the air with a club in his hand.

Set to make an immense blow to the body that he commands.

I’ve been anguished like a shark without a fin.

Now I’ve found it.

Let’s see now, where shall I begin?

Where shall I begin?

Where shall I begin?

Lady Justice.

Well my friends, judicial trends sicken me to the core.

Corruption wreaks old England’s streets these people have much to answer for.

Some hit and run low life scum wins appeal for their human rights.

An extinguisher thrown at a protest show and they’ll sentence you to two years of your life.

Tell me is it right?

Am I on my own?

The sword and the scales are being used all wrong.

Press won’t address roaring success of schools improving lives.

Who innovate and raise the stakes while others make their own foolish demise.

The culprit jumps ship after deciding to merge collapsing plans.

You’ve got M.P’s named and shamed when they’ve been caught with their red hands.

Tell me is it right?

Am I on my own?

The sword and the scales are being used all wrong.

Iron Men And Women Who Made Me

I can hear the ticking of an old enemy.

It’s gnawing away as I pace through the day like a trapped rat feeling the heat.

But I think of you and all of the things that you’ve done.

For your vigor and your vision the crafts and exhibitions I am a blessed son. Yeah.

Face the challenges of today and remember.

As I face the challenges of today I’ll remember the iron men and women who made me.

How we threw ourselves down rapid icy floods.

Here’s to big and little twin you encouraged us to swim it was for our own good.

For you and your jet black leaping steed that you crave.

To the Woodstock dance and storming the class.

Your magic will never fade.

Face the challenges of today and remember.

As I face the challenges of today I’ll remember the iron men and women who made me.

Oh how we used to thrash around down in the gallery.

Yeah we were like men possessed.

How we used to thrash around down in the gallery.

We were like men possessed.

Yeah. Oh how we used to thrash around down in the gallery.

We were like men possessed.

Oh how we used to thrash around down in the gallery.

We were like men possessed.

Face the challenges of today and remember.

As I face the challenges of today I’ll remember the iron men and women who made me.

Sevillian Heat

Back back back from Sevillian Heat, been working beside mad dogs, oh the mad dogs that I meet.

I’ve got restlessness bubbling within. Out on the casa rooftop oh my doubts came creeping in.

Yeah something has been missing my friend.

Yeah something has been missing my friend.

Lied lied melting on a step, I’m wanting a loved one and my lifestyle oh these things I can’t forget.

I’m wanting a loved one and my lifestyle oh these things I can’t forget.

Yeah something has been missing my friend.

Yeah something has been missing my friend.

From orange land and sunflower seeds, home to my own Yorkshire green.

From orange land and sunflower seeds, home to my own sunflower green.

Telling you something has been missing my friend

Can I get a little help?

Can I get a little help?

Can I get a little help?

Can I get little help?

Can I get a little help?

Can I get a little help? Whoa yeah.

Walking Glass

Lifeblood at your beckon call, a sight for soar eyes makes you fall.

Hello, hello.

Cry sea crimson lay your head, a passing shepherd had once said.

I see you, you see me.

I’ll take you where the fireflies go away.

Where silk is streaming and shows no grey.

Like walking glass on river’s path I’m thinking.

No restless breeze those settled seas, I’m drinking a line.

I hope that it brings you luck, I’m throwing pennies to pick up.

I’m trying, I’m trying.

Peeling eyes and prizing light, you feel to frightened brave your sight.

Hello, hello.
